Some future planning

onions dryingIt’s time to order the winter onions and garlic for planting out. That means that beds need preparing.

There’s a plan for next year to put the small cherry tomato plants in hanging baskets for ease of picking.

And there’s a need to get out the successional sowings of kale (three colours) and calabrese (the 60 day to harvesting variety) out into the ground to help keep the crop shares going over the winter and into spring.
