Wild life!

by on September 6, 2015

Wild RabbitThe wheat has been harvested in the fields adjoining the Go Local Food site. So the pigeons have taken themselves off to glean the last of the left over grain for a few days rather than take a crop share if allowed.

Because the local fields have been harvested the rabbits are patrolling the rabbit proof fencing. It would seem that it really is rabbit proof as they are still on the outside.

The cabbage white butterflies seem to have found a way to leave their caterpillars on the brassicas – there were instructions to the work share folks to squish when seen.

And it would seem that a mole is back so Ian will have to leap into action again. As well as patrolling the slugs which are getting larger and more varied in species.
