Cinderella shall go to the ball

PumpkinIan was convinced that he and the work shares had planted out Hunter butternut squash earlier in the season. However he has recently been watching these develop and has decided that what he has are the biggest and best pumpkins that he has seen for some years. And they are ripening nicely at present. So long as nothing rots, there will be some really handsome pumpkins later on.

Somewhere along the line then, things are not as expected. So it’s out with your fairy godmothers and other suitable requirements for going to the ball.

So all those Go Local Food members who expect to get butternut squash in their crop share soon are going to be surprised. But at least the spaghetti squash as doing well and are exactly as expected from what has been planted.
