Some of you may have noticed in a recent Hexham Courant article, that the Go Local Food application to Awards for All, which is a lottery grant, was successful.
This grant will help us build volunteering within our scheme. We want to engage with more people from our communities by offering volunteering activities for young people and older people who may be feeling a bit isolated, looking to try something new and wanting a supportive environment as they learn.
We are busy working on the details and we’ll keep you updated as soon as we can with these.
