Did you see on the BBC new that “A new record is set for the UK’s heaviest pumpkin grown outdoors“?Go Local Food Pumpkins are not that enormous and we didn’t pay £1250 for one seed but our work shares and volunteers have helped grower Ian to produce a glut of glorious pumpkins for our latest crop share.
And ours are definitely easier to carry home, cook and eat! They don’t need a sling and forklift truck to move them either!
The BBC didn’t tell us what was done with the heaviest pumpkin did they? Now if our members have suggestions?
