John and Ian were uncovering the Brussels sprout plants and organising picking them for the Go Local Food crop share when I arrived on Friday morning. Jude had taken a tub to sit on rather than bending over to make picking kale easier.
Duncan was picking chard and his boy Saloman was spending some of his half term holiday as a volunteer moving soil from the cleared tomato beds in one of the poly tunnels to fill up the raised bed that will be used for carrots next season. Joan was picking tomatoes.
William, Richie and Vicky had finished the double digging of the area where the cucumbers had been.
Ian has a lot of pricking out that needs doing and is also busy planning where crops will grow next year.
