Friday was a cold and miserable day on the Go Local Fields – as was Thursday too. Really miserable January weather.
Picking sprouts for the crop share was no fun at all.
The only slightly warmer job was topping and tailing the swedes in the poly tunnel – though the heater was only making a minute difference to the temperature.
The outside water supply was frozen too – not for easy watering of the poly tunnels then.
