OK – so here are the plans for Scarecrow Saturday

This is what it will look like on the day then. And even the weather forecast looks to be sunny and without the high winds of recent days.

Scarecrow Judging taking place between 10 am and 12 noon with fantastic prizes (vouchers from Forum Books and a few extra treats)

I wonder if the job for the volunteers on the All Hands side of Saturday morning will be erecting poles to support the scarecrows? Sounds a fun job.

AND we are looking for film making enthusiasts to help make a film about the Growing Gang as we begin to transform the children and young people’s space on the field. That space will be at the far end where once upon a time there used to be ducks. Remember the ducks? They were on the fields long ago when I first writing for the blog. That sounds a fun project for someone.
