There’s a blackbird’s nest in the alcove of one of the water tanks next to number two poly tunnel. Unfortunately the mother bird keeps getting scared off the nestlings that have hatched due to people coming and going. With the weather forecast for the week from Monday onward being very cold and wet (with even a mention of snow or sleet) it’s not a good time for small nesting birds. Especially if they have already hatched a brood.
The robin gang is watching the humans at work as robins do and probably hoping that we turn up the odd worm or other tidbit for them to eat.
