What a difference our special plot up at Go Local Food looks now that Ian (our professional grower) has kindly ploughed the field for us.
On our last Activity Saturday, we worked as a team to remove the stones and remaining weeds and then planted potatoes! Well done growing gang members, lots more to plant on our next Activity Saturday on 27th May.
Our next event is Saturday 27th May from 10 am to 12 noon where we will be making some bug hotels! Learn all about the importance of bugs and insects and how they help control pests and help create little homes for them. Who will we have living in our hotels? hedgehogs? solitary bees? ladybirds? time will tell…
We will also be doing more planting, and seeing how our potatoes are coming along!
