If only three caterpillars have been seen recently as counted this week, it’s not looking good for the butterfly numbers on the Go Local Fields. We could do with a volunteer to sit in a quiet place for fifteen minutes and count butterflies and moths for the big butterfly count and then submit findings to www.bigbutterflycount.org/Â – we have till the end of August. Anyone willing? There’s plenty of information on the site to help you identify the butterflies and moths.
