Ian has had his blue tractor back for some time after the repairs – no we dare not ask about the bill. Now he can get on with his haymaking at home. Just look at what he has done for the weather over the last few days. Wonder if he’s solely to blame for the lack of summer weather.
His one working collie is due to have pups any day now (she went to play with Charlie from Halls of Heddon and this is what happened) – let’s hope that she’s not required for urgent and sudden work with her owner’s sheep.
Apparently despite everything the fennel has been put out in the ground and there was a threat of the same with winter brassicas. But who knows. If you’ve had the wrong day and the wrong weather as a work share – it’s that threat of haymaking wot done it.
