Grass cutting, tidying up, putting things away seems to be the routine this week above planting and growing. Not our grower’s favourite sort of jobs – says he knows that it has to all be done but he’d rather be growing things.
It’s all in preparation for the BBq on Saturday evening (4pm – 8pm up at the Go Local Food fields in Ovington). At least the weather forecast is good for the evening (at the moment, the weather person may change things of course) if definitely autumnal. Autumn is definitely three weeks earlier than expected so it probably won’t be an evening for summer wear.
Hope that you have all bought your tickets and that there is going to be a big crowd there. You have bought your tickets haven’t you? There is still a day to do so!
