After the onion crop failure we had here at Go Local Food last year, we have asked Gibside Community Farm to grow a crop for us – they had no problems last year.
Here at Go Local Food, we have been bringing on some onions in the poly tunnels which we now need to plant out so that we have some which we hope we will be able to store for over winter crops shares. Well that’s grower Ian’s plan.
Anyway – thank you for the help Gibside Community Farm. Onions in the crop share in the future hopefully so long as the season gets itself going very soon indeed.
