Enjoyed a brilliant morning with some of the work shares on Saturday morning, the sun did actually shine, albeit briefly. Some excellent projects moved forward with over-wintered onions planted outside and a 50mm layer of compost being applied to provide nutrition, water retention and most importantly weed suppression. Ian and Christine M set this off on Friday, a great team effort continued by Yola and William. Annette cleared the last of the Celeriac opening up new ground for the season and William prepared a new border for Lemon Verbena! How much good news do you need. Another spectacular offer of leaves and the tunnels probably north of the M6 – seriously!
