Well, one of our members, is on a mission to do the same for Prudhoe and is looking for support for the idea. We thought we might be able to find a way of supporting the healthy eating part… anyway – one step at a time. We’re aware that several of our members are already runners and that we cover more than Prudhoe… so if this is not for you, do share with others who might be interested.
The “‘Prudhoe Can RUN’ team aims to bring our community together here in Prudhoe to get healthier, fitter and have some fun at the same time. We’re going to be doing some activities right here in Prudhoe, with the focus on the Prudhoe Miners’ 10K Run on Sunday the 23rd September 2018.
Don’t worry if you have never run before – you’ll be joining plenty of us in doing it for the first time! Whether you’re looking to lose weight, eat healthier or just need that nudge to get fitter please think about joining the Prudhoe Can RUN team.
Over the coming months, there will be more information about what is happening in Prudhoe and plans for having some fun preparing for the Prudhoe Miners’ Run together!
Each person who signs up gets their own personal food intake diary and weight loss dashboard, lots of information about healthy eating and exercise, as well as details of upcoming events and local resources – and it’s all FREE!
