One of our work shares, Amy, is taking the challenge to go plastic-free this month.
She is ready to swap single-use plastic such as coffee cups and water bottles and replace with her own reusable products, will be asking for “no straw” in her drinks and won’t be buying any product from the shops wrapped in plastic.
Her Go Local Food crop share will help her a lot this month, as none of the produce on the field comes plastic wrapped! She’s even planning to bring her own container when the strawberries are ready for picking!
