The rain was early which was good for the thirsty crops, the sun came out which was good for the event, the displays were set up and a sigh of relief was breathed as the Go Local Food fields were opened to the public. Local bread, home made jams and chutneys, local honey and of course vegetables from the field were available as well as tours of the field and a treasure hunt.
It’s nice when all the preparations come together and everything is right.
