A worthwhile read – recommended

countryside landscape“This week we’re talking with Oli Rodker, founder director of the Ecological Land Co-operative and the Landworkers’ Alliance, about his work, and how we might change the nature of land ownership in the UK, where 0.06% of the population own 50% of rural land in England and Wales, according to the Country Land & Business Association.”

It’s worth taking the time to read what Oli Rodker has to say – it’s not a short read but it’s full of thoughtful ways of looking at how we use land, especially for food production.

It will make you realise how hard it is for small growers to make a living if nothing else.
