A quiet week with work shares, grower and field recovering from the Summer BBq. But production of vegetables must continue as crop shares have to be supplied.
This week planting of lettuce, the last of the season’s fennel and weeding plots for the later winter cauliflowers, clearing ground and bed preparation for adding manure over winter.
Sounds easy? It’s absolutely essential that this work is done properly – think of the crops for next year. Good and plentiful crops require good soil.
