Did you know this week is World Worm Week?

worms in handAnd Go Local Food likes worms. In fact we are planning for a mega increase in our worm population through the use of hot compost and reduced soil compaction that comes when we use tractors and other machinery.

Having said that, the area of the field that was ploughed at the weekend is supporting a good crop of worms as you can see here.
